The season of El Nino is upon us. The only time it is not unusual to have a full week of rain is during the El Nino, a condition of a massive body of warm water in the pacific that diverts storms normally headed to the pacific northwest to the California coast. It happens every dozen years or so, and California desperately needs the water whenever it appears.
After five days of rain, Mount San Antonio, also known as Mt. Baldy, wears a blanket of snow.
